Privacy Policy
Effective 25 August 2026
NimbleOps ("Nimble", "we") provides an AI-powered freight operations platform to freight-forwarding organizations. This policy covers the NimbleOps web application and the NimbleOps mobile apps for Android and iOS (together, the "Service"), and explains what data the Service processes, why, and the choices available to you.
The Service is a business tool. Access is restricted to authorized members of organizations that have an agreement with Nimble. There is no self-serve signup: your account is provisioned and managed by your organization, which controls the business data processed on its behalf. Nimble processes that data under its agreement with your organization.
Data we process
- Account information — your name, work email address, role, and branch, provided by your organization when your account is created; your login credentials.
- Business communications — emails and attachments from company mailboxes that your organization has connected to the Service (for example via Microsoft 365), and emails you compose and send from within the Service.
- Operational records — enquiries, shipments, quotes, rates, bookings, and customer records your organization manages in the Service.
- Files you upload — documents you choose to add to the Service, such as rate sheets or email files.
- Usage and log data — actions taken in the app, technical logs, and basic device information, used for security, audit, and improving the Service. If push notifications are enabled on your device, a push registration token.
How we use it
- To operate the Service: capturing and classifying enquiries, preparing quotes, tracking pipelines and bookings, and producing analytics for your organization.
- To secure the Service: authentication, access control, audit trails, and abuse prevention.
- To support your organization and improve the Service.
Parts of the Service use AI models to read business communications and extract shipment details (ports, weights, dates, rates). Our AI providers process this data solely to provide the Service and are not permitted to use it to train their models.
What we don't do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not show ads and do not use advertising identifiers.
- We do not use your organization's business data for any purpose outside our agreement with your organization.
Sharing
Data is shared only with: (a) your own organization — its data is visible to its authorized users according to the roles it configures; (b) service providers who process data on our behalf (cloud hosting and database infrastructure, email connectivity such as Microsoft Graph, AI model providers), bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms; and (c) authorities where the law requires it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is controlled by role-based permissions and row-level security, and administrative access is limited and logged.
Retention and deletion
We retain data for as long as our agreement with your organization requires, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Because accounts are managed by your organization, requests to access, correct, or delete your data should go to your organization's administrator; you can also contact us directly at dhruv@nimbleops.io and we will honor the request together with your organization, subject to its legal retention obligations.
Children
The Service is a workplace tool intended for adults 18 and over. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly process children's data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and note the new effective date above, and notify organizations through the Service.
